Point of Care Testing: Trainer 2027

Vials

The 2027 Annual Point of Care Testing (POCT) Trainer class is for staff designated by their managers as POCT trainers. All 2027 modules must be completed before attending class. Class time will emphasize how to complete the point of care tests and how to sign off skill observations. Participants will also provide return demonstration of POCT tests which will be observed and documented by a clinical lab scientist.

Attendance at this class is required to become a trainer and sign off staff; there is no train the trainer option this year.

This is a blended learning course that consists of online modules and an in-person class. This class is only open to UC Davis Health employees.
