I believe in promoting child wellness by optimizing children's physical and mental health, as well as their development. I strive to do this by practicing compassionate and evidence-based medicine, and by partnering with parents, Pediatric medical and surgical specialists, mental health providers, and community organizations.
Dr. Yuk is a general pediatrician who provides comprehensive care to children of all ages. Her clinical focus is serving vulnerable pediatric populations, with particular expertise in caring for children who have experienced abuse and those involved in the child welfare system.
Dr. Yuk’s academic interests include medical education, especially as it pertains to trauma-informed care, and child abuse prevention in general pediatrics. As the 2025–2026 American Academy of Pediatrics Child Welfare and Health Policy Fellow, she focuses on the intersection of child welfare policy and health care delivery for vulnerable pediatric populations.
