New social work grand rounds series starts in September
Continuing education credit available for licensed clinical social workers
UC Davis Health Licensed Clinical Social Workers Professional Education and Approved Continuing Education Advisory Committee is hosting a social work grand rounds educational series starting this September, with continuing education (CE) credit available for licensed clinical social workers.
Social workers and interdisciplinary health care professionals are invited to participate in sessions highlighting innovations in social work practice and equity-focused interventions.

In this session you’ll learn how to:
- Define advance care planning and explain it to patients.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the key documents used for advance care planning.
- Apply person-centered communication strategies in advance care planning conversations.

Time: noon – 1 p.m. (Note: Zoom room opens at 11:45 a.m. for informal networking)
