Dr. Chithiwala is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist who provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of maternal and fetal medicine. Her clinical interests include the management of medically complex pregnancies, multiple gestations, and fetal anomalies. She has expertise in prenatal diagnosis through amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), as well as advanced fetal procedures such as percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS), intrauterine transfusion (IUT), and other ultrasound-guided fetal interventions.

She is passionate about caring for women with high-risk pregnancies and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized, evidence-based care that optimizes outcomes for both mother and baby.
