Philosophy of Care

Dr. Mo is acutely aware that pregnancy is not a one-size-fits-all experience. She understands that many women enter pregnancy having already navigated the challenges of health or other aspects of life, and she recognizes the profound impact these experiences can have on their current and future pregnancies. She partners closely with patients and their families, combining evidence-based medicine with compassion and clear communication to help them navigate complex decisions. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and support they need to make informed choices for themselves and their babies. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Mo is a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician with a dedicated focus on providing comprehensive care for patients carrying high-risk pregnancies. Her clinical interest include hypertensive disorder of pregnancy, multiple gestations, and preterm birth prevention. She is also interested in leveraging technology and data-driven approaches to improve maternal care and outcomes.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Mo’s research focuses on improving maternal cardiovascular health through data science, artificial intelligence, and physiologic signal analysis. Her work includes developing large-scale pregnancy databases, applying ECG and echocardiographic data to predict pregnancy complications, and advancing digital tools to support patient education and clinical decision-making. She is a scholar in the UC Davis Clinical and Translational Science Center Advancing Clinical and Translational Innovation by Vitalizing And Training Early-career faculty (ACTIVATE) K12 Mentored Research Training Program.
