UC Davis anesthesiology faculty participate in the Heart-to-Heart Global Cardiac Care Program, supporting pediatric cardiac surgery through anesthesia and perioperative care collaboration.

Niroop Ravula, M.B.B.S., F.R.C.A. and Rajvinder Dhamrait, B.M.B.S., F.C.A.C.S.I., F.R.C.A. worked closely with the local anesthesiology team during Heart-to-Heart missions in March 2024 and March 2026, providing pediatric cardiac anesthesia support as part of the multidisciplinary initiative led by Gary Raff, M.D., Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon.

As part of this ongoing collaboration, UC Davis Health hosted Sebastian Montalvo for a one‑month observership in pediatric cardiac anesthesia, further strengthening international training and capacity‑building efforts.
